Dr. Destun has been working as a psychologist in private practice in London, Ontario since 1999. Each psychologist within the practice has their own unique approach to therapy, as well as their own areas of particular interest. Dr. Destun's practice is geared toward a wide range of presenting problems, couple therapy, relationship issues, self-esteem, anxiety, such as depression, chronic pain and personal growth. They are trained and experienced in providing psychotherapy to help individuals and couples to overcome problematic patterns of thought and behaviour in order to live happier more fulfilling lives. She and her associates are registered doctoral level clinical psychologists, meaning that they possess a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology, and are registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. We provide insight-oriented, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to both adults and children.
